The AS810SD accepts up to eight sheets of paper at a time and shreds them into 1/4-inch strips. Paper is shredded at a speedy 9.7 feet per minute. A three-mode safety switch keeps your fingers from getting caught. To get the shredding started, simply feed paper through and the shredder auto starts.
In addition to paper, the AS810SD shreds CDs and credit cards, keeping vital information from falling into the wrong hands. The throat of the shredder is 8.75 inches wide and the basket itself can hold 4.5 gallons, or 100 sheets of shredded paper.

Great shredder for household use
My boyfriend and I purchased this shredder for use in our apartment. We had stacks of papers we already wanted to shred and this baby did the job. Comes with a CD and credit card shredder. Works great. You can take the top (shredder) part off and put it on an size can as it has adjustable length.
Aurora AS810SD Review
This is one great shredder for the price. It is almost like getting the CD and DVD destroyer for free. This is NOT a cross-cut shredder, so it it really only useful at home. If you can live with that, you will have gotten a terrific bargain. Most people don't really need a cross cut shredder just for shredding bills and such.
